“For me and the Havasupai people who came here today, we came to recognize this area as our own, and to officially change the name to Havasupai Gardens, and back to our traditional name, Ha’a Gyoh. To us, that is very important because it’s a symbol, almost saying that this is always going to be part of us now—forever. What was once taken away, is slowly being returned.
