For this month's "Glimpses of the Past" video, join avid cyclist and Park Ranger Mike Weinstein as he tells the story of the 25th U.S. Infantry "Buffalo Soldier" Bicycle Corps. This trailblazing group of Black soldiers rode over 1900 miles from Missoula, Montana to St. Louis, Missouri to test the bicycle for military use.

Learn about the many challenges and triumphs the Bicycle Corps faced on their adventure through the west as they became pioneers of long-distance cycling.
