Mountain Moment: Madness of Marmots

Description

What do you call a group of marmots? A madness! Marmots live in colonies, and young marmots often play-fight. These hoary marmots were filmed along the Paradise Valley Road on June 3, 2019, where enough snow has melted from rocky hillsides where the marmots live (however most Paradise trails are still snow-covered in June). After sleeping all winter, they seem to be excited to get out and play!
