Dustin Baker - Chief of Interpretation

Youth & Young Adult Programs

Transcript

Hi, my name is Dustin Baker, and I'm the chief of interpretation at George Washington Birthplace National Monument, and Thomas Stone National Historic Site. When I was young, I was interested in the arts. And I actually went to college to learn how to be a sculptor. And I'm so grateful that I did because my first job with the National Parks was as a sculptor in residence at Mount Rushmore. And so my advice to anyone who's trying to find their path into the National Parks is to follow your passion. There's over 400 sites out there with countless stories waiting to be told.
