Fortitude, the strength and courage to overcome challenges, has defined Fort Pulaski National Monument throughout its existence. From the overgrown, abandoned fort of 1924 to the restored and preserved structure standing in 2024, thousands of people have spent countless hours and energy planning, building, restoring, and safeguarding this monument and sharing it with the public.
