Oak Ridge: Tour Behind the Fence

During World War II, the top-secret Manhattan Project sites maintained high levels of security. That legacy continues today in Oak Ridge. Many of the park’s historic properties are located “behind the fence” on secure US Department of Energy reservations. Public access is only permitted though public tours facilitated by the Department of Energy. Follow the link below for more information on registering for a guided tour.
