Ranger-Led Walk at Ashley Pond

Join a National Park Service ranger for a guided walk around historic Ashley Pond. This scenic pond was surrounded by the wartime community that supported the Manhattan Project. During the tour, you’ll learn about the people, places, and events that shaped the development of the atomic bomb. The walk highlights key stories of science, secrecy, and daily life, offering visitors a unique opportunity to connect with the park’s rich history in an outdoor setting.

  • Route: This walk follows the paved path around Ashley Pond.
