Your interest in making a donation to Manhattan Project National Historical Park (NHP) is deeply appreciated. We could not attain excellence without the generous support of individuals and organizations like you. The Friends of MAPR-LA was formed as a philanthropic partner of the National Park Service in 2018. As 501(c)3, the Friends of MAPR-LA strengthen the Manhattan Project National Historical Park - Los Alamos and its ability to share its stories with a diverse audience through outreach, education, volunteerism and financial support to the park. The funds raised are for the Los Alamos, New Mexico unit of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park co-administered by the National Park Service and Department of Energy. Working in conjunction with the NPS, the Friends of MAPR-LA support the park with financial resources for agreed upon project and initiatives to improve the park and its efforts to present the historical relevance and importance of the Manhattan Project. Donations support the Manhattan Project NHP. Donors can identify in comment section if there is a preference for how donation would be used to support park. Direct donations via the Friends of MAPR-Los Alamos website is preferred.
