Mrs. Coretta Scott King established The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Inc. in 1968 to preserve the legacy and her husband's dream of nonviolent social change. Visit the the King Center to view the final resting place of Dr. and Ms. King. You will also find the "Coretta Scott King Peace and Meditation Garden", where visitors are reminded of the power of their own voices, by having the opportunity to speak into a beautiful, hand-crafted sculpture of microphones on a mosaic tile plinth and have their own word amplified. |
