Cellular ServiceCell service availability in the park depends on your service provider carrier. Verizon customers typically have service. However, dead zones still exist, particularly in the valleys and river valley of the park. Other providers have extremely limited service, if any at all. Wi-FiFree, public Wi-Fi is available at the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center, the Lodge at Mammoth Cave, and the Sunset Lodge units. DiningSit down restaurants, quick counter service, and grab-and-go food options are all available inside the park or just outside in our local communities. Learn more about dining options in the area. GasThere are no gas stations located in the park. The closest gas and service stations are in the communities of Cave City, Park City and Brownsville. LaundrySelf-serve laundry facilities are located at the Caver’s Camp Store on Mammoth Cave Parkway. Facilities include two coin-operated washers and two coin-operated dryers. Laundry detergent and change exchange are available in the camp store. LodgingThe Lodge at Mammoth Cave features a mix of modern hotel rooms as well as historic cottages nestled in the woodland within walking distance from the park visitor center. Lodging is also available just outside of the park. Lost & FoundIf you have lost an item inside the park, please visit the Ticket Sales Area in the park visitor center and ask a ranger about the item in question. Post OfficeA United States Post Office is located behind the Caver's Camp Store on Mammoth Cave Parkway. The post office is open year-round, Monday – Friday, 10:15 am – 2:15 pm; Saturday, 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. Contact the post office at (270) 758-2311. Shopping
America’s National Parks BookstoreLocated inside the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center, the America’s National Parks Bookstore sells educational materials and souvenirs. 100% of the proceeds from purchases sold in the bookstore go directly to supporting education and preservation programs at Mammoth Cave National Park. Cave GiftsCave Gifts has two retail locations in the park, one inside the main lobby of the visitor center and another inside the Lodge at Mammoth Cave. The gift shop features a variety of memorabilia to commemorate your time in the park. Kentucky GiftsLocated in the Lodge at Mammoth Cave, Kentucky Gifts sells a collection of locally produced crafts, art and gifts. Caver’s Camp StoreThe Caver's Camp Store is located on Mammoth Cave Parkway next to the Mammoth Cave Campground. The camp store features a sales area with general supplies, snacks, groceries, souvenirs, quick food service as well as showers and a self-service laundry facility. ShowersCoin-operated showers are available at the Caver’s Camp Store on Mammoth Cave Parkway. No amenities are provided; soaps and shampoos may be purchased at the Caver's Camp Store. |
