Mammoth Cave serves schools in the 10-county Barren River Area Development District.
Ranger-led classroom programs are available to schools in the 10-county Barren River Area Development District, that surrounds the national park.
These interactive programs accommodate a variety of learning styles and can be customized to meet the needs of individual classrooms. All programs meet Next Generation Sciences Standards and presentations last between 30 to 60 minutes each. Programs are presented to one classroom at a time to provide an opportunity for students to ask questions and participate in hands-on activities.
Multiple teachers or classrooms may request programs on the same day, and each teacher or grade level may request different topics.
