Ozark National Scenic Riverways has updated its campground reservation system for the 2025 season.

Campground and access point repairs are continuing at Ozark National Scenic Riverways following a record-setting flood in November 2024.

Pea Ridge National Military Park will conduct prescribed fire operations Monday and Tuesday, March 10-11, 2025, subject to weather conditions falling within the parameters of prescribed fire prescriptions.

Following a quick storm, the park has reopened.

On March 4, 2025, the National Park Service will begin mill and overlay asphalt repair work on the ramps from Natchez Trace Parkway to Interstate Highway 55 resulting in nightly closures. Closures will occur from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. as work progresses, starting with the north bound on-ramp the evening of Tuesday, March 4.

A quick storm will come into the Gulf March 4.

Preparations are being made at Ozark National Scenic Riverways to accomplish several prescribed fires during March. These burns will be carefully planned and monitored by the park’s wildland fire management staff.

Gateway Arch National Park and Gateway Arch Park Foundation will commemorate the reopening of this historic landmark with a free community festival honoring the St. Louis landmark’s significant role in American history.

On March 3, 2025, the National Park Service (NPS) will begin repair work on Grant Circle and a section of Union Ave in the northern portion of the park. Following heavy rainfall in early 2020, these roads suffered catastrophic failures necessitating closure to ensure visitor safety. These roads have been closed since that time.
