JSU/LRCC

LRCC - Little River Canyon Center, owned and managed by Jacksonville State University. They offer a visitor center, gift shop, movie, restrooms, and trails. There is even a swing out front to sit down and relax. Scheduled educational programs, musical entertainment, and other events are offered to the public and are often free of charge. You can also rent space at the center for events.

DST

DST - DeSoto State Park owned and managed by the State of Alabama. DeSoto State Park offers a variety of activities for families. Accommodations include camping, hotel rooms, cabins and chalets. Activities include hiking, pool, playground, scheduled programs and much more. The lodge has a gift shop and a restaurant.

Law Enforcement DeSoto State Park, City of Fort Payne Police Department, DeKalb County Sheriff's Department, Cherokee County Sheriff's Department , Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Jacksonville State University Police Department Working in harmony for the common purpose of protecting life and property of the public they serve.
Search and Rescue Fischer Rescue Squad, Fort Payne Fire Department, Adamsburg, Broomtown, Dogtown, and Tuckers Chapel Volunteer Fire Departments, Cherokee County Rescue Squad Providing personnel services and equipment required for search and rescue incidents.
Fire Fighting Adamsburg, Broomtown, Dogtown, Tuckers Chapel Volunteer Fire Departments, Fort Payne Fire Department and DeSoto State Park Providing personnel services and equipment required for firefighting incidents and the protection of life and property on lands administered by the preserve.
Medical Services DeKalb Ambulance Service, DeKalb Medical Center, Dr. Robert Theakston, Fischer Rescue Squad and Cherokee Emergency Medical Services. A mutually agreed upon rescue, recovery, treatment, and transport of injured and ill visitors within the preserve.
