Loomis Museum

Historic stone and concrete building from the exterior. A stone and concrete half-wall surrounds the building. Steps lead to the front entrance double doors. Tall pine trees are amongst the building.
Louisa Mae Loomis Museum is open seasonally.

The Louisa Mae Loomis Museum was contructed by Benjamin Loomis in 1927 in honor of his daughter, Louisa Mae. Today, the museum offers exhibits about the Loomis family, historic photographs of Lassen Peak's 1914 eruption captured by Benjamin Loomis, and natural resources of the park. The park film, park orientation and information are also available.
