Some of the land along Kenai Fjords coastline is owned by the Port Graham Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation. A Land Use Permit is required to access these private lands, however, some areas are marked as public easements and can be used for up to 24 hours without a permit. The Port Graham Corporation and Kenai Fjords National Park are working together to preserve and protect the rich ecological and cultural values of the Kenai Fjords through establishment of infrastructure leading to cooperative management of park and corporation lands and resources.
