Climbing Management Plan Public Scoping Extended to March 13, 2022Due to the significant public interest in the Climbing Management Plan (CMP), Joshua Tree National Park (JTNP) is extending the public scoping comment period by two weeks. Over 200 people joined the meeting to learn about what the park is proposing as part of the CMP. After approximately an hour of presentations, the team answered questions from meeting participants. By the end of the 2.5 hour meeting, most of the questions were answered during the meeting and may be viewed on the recorded video; however, many outstanding questions were unanswered due to time constraints.
