Henry Brady Patton was born September 26, 1852 in Pittsburgh, PA. His parents, James and Elizabeth Patton were considered one of the pioneers of Pittsburgh's Northside and one of the oldest families of Allegheny County, according to his obituary. Patton was associated with the American Window Glass Company, which was established by his brother-in-law James A. Chambers. Chambers, a fellow South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club Member, was married to Patton's sister Maria. In addition to the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club, Patton was a member of the Pittsburgh Club and Allegheny Country Club. Patton died on May 6, 1900. |
