John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site will close for the 2024 visitor season on October 27.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site in Brookline is pleased to offer an array of offsite programs to continue public engagement throughout the summer of 2022, while remaining closed for renovations and needed maintenance.

Acting Superintendent Chris Beagan selected Jill Trebbe as the new Site Manager at John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site and Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site, effective June 19, 2022.

Site Manager Chris Beagan selected Talya Housman as the new Museum Technician at Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site and John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site, effective October 25, 2021.

On July 10, 2021, JFK NHS will honor Eunice Kennedy Shriver on the 100th anniversary of her birth with a virtual presentation. The celebration will premiere at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

Site Manager Chris Beagan selected Kate Hanson Plass as the new Archivist at Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site and John F. Kennedy National Historic Site. Hanson Plass begins her new role on March 14, 2021.

Due to renovations and exhibit maintenance, John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site will remain closed in 2020. Renovations are expected to be completed by late Spring 2021.
