"View From The Park" Photo Contest Ends July 31

Calling all professional and amateur shutterbugs! The National Park Service (NPS) "View from the Park" photography contest continues through Sunday, July 31. Participants are encouraged to submit photos taken within the boundary of Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (JNEM), which includes the Old Courthouse and Gateway Arch Grounds.

The contest is free and open for youth group participants (ages 15 and under) or general group participants. Photographers may submit up to two photos in each of three categories: landscape, architecture and nature. There will be prizes for first, second and third place winners. and the winning photographs will be displayed at the Gateway Arch from August 15 to September 15. Entries can be submitted through www.nps.gov/jeff.

All photographs must be taken within the boundary of JNEM, which includes the Old Courthouse and the Gateway Arch grounds. Please submit photos online at www.nps.gov/jeff. Now through Sunday, July 31.

The "View from the Park" photo contest is made possible by the Jefferson National Parks Association, with addition support provided by Photogenic, Inc. Schiller Camera Company, Walmart and Metro. Photo uploading and hosting is sponsored by the St. Louis Camera Club.
