The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, in cooperation with the National Park Service at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, will commemorate Flag Day with a public naturalization ceremony at the Historic Old Courthouse on Thursday, June 14.  The ceremony will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the rotunda of the Historic Old Courthouse, 11 North Fourth Street, downtown St. Louis.

Approximately 75 prospective United States citizens will take the oath of citizenship at each official naturalization ceremony inside the Old Courthouse. This historic building will be decorated with an array of patriotic 19th Century displays, including a 33-star, 36’ x 20’ garrison flag suspended from the fifth-level balcony.

The public is invited to attend the naturalization ceremonies and see the decorated Historic Old Courthouse. The garrison flag and historic decorations will be exhibited through July 16. All events and exhibits at the Historic Old Courthouse are free.
