Permits

A permit is required for anyone overnighting at Isle Royale in a campground, in a designated cross country camping zone, at a dock, or at anchor.

Small Party Camping Permits

A small party permit (1-6 people) is required for all who stay overnight in campgrounds.

Cross-Country Camping Permits

Camping outside of designated campgrounds requires a cross-country camping permit.
