Reserve Your Field TripTo begin your reservation for a field trip to Hamilton Grange, please fill the form below. Please note that this initial email is a request, and a reservation is only valid upon email confirmation from the park. Please allow one week for a confirmation for your trip. Field Trip OfferingsElementary Educational TourThis tour is provides a 30-minute site walkthrough. Students will be asked to consider the term "legacy", and how the house represents the legacy of Hamilton/early America. Considering this angle, students will be introduced to the concepts of living in the early 1800's and how our lives compare today. The history of Harlem/New York City will be introduced, and concepts of landscape change (rural to urban settings) will be explored from the context of The Grange. Standard Grange TourBetter suited for middle school and up, this tour covers the basics of The Grange and its history. Touching upon subjects such as Alexander Hamilton, the building of The Grange, early Harlem history, artifacts within the home, the restoration of the home, and more, it is a good introduction into the various topics of the house.Rangers will be able to accommodate topical requests with enough notice.
