Collections

The collections at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park are quite diverse in both object type as well as subject matter. As the park grew and interpretive themes evolved, so has the collection. The museum management program at Harpers Ferry is tasked with maintaining collections from the Lewis and Clark expedition, John Brown's raid, the American Civil War, and African-American history including Storer College and the Niagara Movement. Please take time and explore what we have in the park's museum collection and your involvement in the caring for this collection.
