Start your tour here!The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park Visitor Center is the first place you should begin your tour. Talk to a Park Ranger or Volunteer and they will give you a map of the park. At this Visitor Center you will learn about the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution and the events that led to the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. Artifacts from the battle and the American Revolution illustrate the past in our museum exhibits. Opportunities
Driving DirectionsThe Visitor Center is located at 2332 New Garden Road, Greensboro, NC 27410. Use this address when navigating to our park. Due to faulty directions in Google Maps, Apple Maps, and other platforms, please drive along US 220/Battleground Avenue and turn on New Garden Road heading East. You will see the large brown sign saying “Guilford Courthouse National Military Park” on the corner. Drive up New Garden past the historic buildings where you will see our sign, then take a right into the parking lot. Parking at the Visitor CenterThis is the main parking lot for the park. This is the main parking lot, located at the Battlefield Visitor Center, 2332 New Garden Road, Greensboro, NC 27410. Please enter the parking lot on the left side, not the right. The entrance to the tour road is located at the backside of the parking lot. This parking lot opens at 8:30 AM and closes at 5:00 PM. Cars that are left in the lot after 5:00 PM will be subject to a fine.

Extra parking at Guilford CourthouseThe lot on Old Battleground Road does not have a gate, and can be accessed from dusk to dawn. If you arrive close to the closing time of the park at 5:00 PM, you should park your car here to avoid being locked in. From this parking lot you can continue exploring the park on foot. The lot is located next to Tour Stop 8. Parking Lot Old Battleground Road Parking Lot
This lot is located near the intersection of Old Battleground Road and New Garden Road. This paved and gravel lot is open to visitors from dawn to dusk, 7 days a week. The lot runs parallel to the Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway and Old Battleground Road.
The gravel portion can accommodate large scale vehicles, as there are no designated spaces.
