Neighboring the National Park

Greensboro Country Park - located to the Southeast of Guilford Courthouse Naitonal Military Park. This city park hosts the annual re-enactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, while interpretive programs occur at the National Park. Country Park has off-road biking, paddleboats, playgrounds, and a dog park.
You can access Country Park by foot from Tour Stop 4. This is a perfect place to have a picnic, because you cannot picnic on the battlefield. Reserve a shelter on their website.

Greensboro Science Center - located in proximity of Greensboro's Country Park, the Greensboro Science Center has an aquarium, museum, and zoo.

Bur-Mil Park is a Guilford County park located north of the park. This 250-acre park is adjacent to Lake Brandt and offers recreational opportunities unlike the National Park.
