As of May 2023, the Rose Farm & Rose Lane are closed to all visitation. The house will undergo a full rehabilitation. This work prohibits the use of the area around the house and lane during construction. Worker safety and resource protection are key.
The David Wills House closed in October 2024 due to a burst water line and will remain closed for the remainder of 2025. No known reopening date is available. Please visit our David Wills House web page for more information and a 3D tour of the house. More
Gettysburg National Military Park has always relied upon the generosity of visitors with contributions made through the mail and through donation boxes located in Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.
Donations made to the park have contributed to park preservation and battlefield rehabilitation projects, educational programming for audiences of all ages, the stabilization of the unique museum collection, the expansion of interpretive services and living history programs, and repairs to field exhibits, cannon carriages and monuments. The generosity and kindness of our visitors made these initiatives possible, and we wish to thank everyone for their donations to the park and our partners for their support.
Another way to support the Parks is by donating to the Gettysburg Foundation, the official philanthropic partner of Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site. All contributions made to the Gettysburg Foundation are dedicated to furthering our mission through fundraising for battlefield rehabilitation, innovative education initiatives, historic structure stewardship, and through the ownership and operation of the Museum & Visitor Center.
