Learn About the Park

First State National Historical Park (NHP) is made up of six sites spread throughout the state of Delaware. While visiting the park you will learn about the triumphs and struggles of the first settlers in the Delaware Bay and how Delaware played a role in establishing our nation, becoming the first state. First State NHP does not currently have one central visitor center, but each of the sites has some type of welcome center where you can receive information about and take a tour. To learn more about the sites visit the "Places To Go" page.
