Service Animals

Service animals are allowed in national parks. See the Americans with Disability Act’s (ADA) definition of a service animal for more help.For the safety and well-being of your service animal, please keep in mind:

• Rules: Animals at Franklin Roosevelt Memorial must be kept on a leash at all times.
• Water: Please bring water for your service animals. Water at the memorial is not reliable.
• Weather and Site Conditions: The granite surface of the memorial may become slippery in snowy, rainy, or icy winter conditions.

• Wildlife: Wildlife has been seen crossing through the memorial. Please be aware of potential wildlife interactions with your service animal.
