Large groups visit the memorial every day, sometimes making the memorial feel loud and crowded. Areas are particularly crowded near the Prologue/Bookstore area. Tactile elements

• There are many sculptures and engraved quotes throughout the memorial that visitors may touch.
• The tactile elements on information panels display a miniature version of some statues and sculptures throughout the park: FDR and Fala, Tumbled Blocks, Room Four Fountain, The Funeral Cortege, and FDR wheelchair sculpture.

Bookstore

• The memorial’s exhibit area offers various exhibits including tactile elements, assistive listening systems, and a real-life version of FDR’s wheelchair.
• There are various items for sale in the bookstore including junior ranger books, magazines, books, etc. There is also a passport stamp station.
