Since yoga practice is a way to focus our mental energy inward, yoga poses can be a natural complement to the stimulation provided by public lands.

If you decide to practice your yoga at Fort Union, you will want to bring a yoga mat. The arid climate means that, even in grassy areas, the plants tend to be pokey and generally uncomfortable.
