Headquarters, Larned, Kans April 28th 1868 Special Order No 52 The Commanding Officer regrets to announce to the command that orders have been received from Hdqrs Dept of the Missouri, relieving Bvt Lieut-Col A.F. Rockwell, A.Q.M. (unreadable) of his duties at this post. By his soldierlike bearing (?) and prompt attention to duty he has won the lasting regard of Officers and men.
