Flight 93 National Memorial offers free distance learning programs for classrooms, senior centers and adult learning institutions. Designed for the virtual education of students and groups not physically in a classroom, distance learning allows rangers to reach audiences beyond the marble and granite at the Memorial. Programs are conducted via videoconferencing platforms, such as Zoom and MS Teams.

Who Are the Forty?
The overall objective of this program is to expose students to the various passengers and crew members of Flight 93: Who they were, their names, what made them unique, and how do we remember them today at the memorial. There will also be a special emphasis on the story of Flight 93 and the actions of the passengers and crew members. Appropriate for upper elementary and middle school children.
America Attacked
This program utilizes multimedia, exhibits, oral presentations, seating charts, phone calls, and a transcript of the cockpit voice recorder to deliver a unique learning opportunity. The overall objective is to expose the students to the role of the FBI in the investigation as to what really happened aboard Flight 93.

Read with a Ranger
Through the written word and illustrations of various children authors and artists the story of 9/11 will be told. Illustrations and text are shared with the students and the stories read with discussion topics. This program targets students K-3.
