INCREDIBLE JOURNEY

When the water eventually regains the surface as a geyser or a hot spring, some of it flashes into steam or evaporates, some of it may flow as runoff and enter a river or stream, or some of it may be swallowed back into the earth.

The water's roundtrip takes hundreds or even thousands of years to complete. Think back to a historical highlight of the United States: the American Revolution, the Civil War, the Battle of the Little Bighorn, Pearl Harbor. . .snow or rain that fell in Yellowstone during these defining events is somewhere en route on its long journey today!
