Just as we do today, the Ancestral Pueblo people native to this area wore jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, arm bands, hair combs and pins. Jewelry was constructed using wood, bone, shell and stone beads. Jewelry might also have been used to convey rank or social status in larger communities.
