The Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center is at the Homestead entrance. Here you will find information about the Everglades, an informational movie, an interactive gallery display and a bookstore. Visitor Center Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (April through Mid-December) Bookstore Hours: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. daily Royal Palm Information Station and Bookstore If you have just one hour in the Everglades, the Royal Palm Information Station and Bookstore is a great place to stop. You can spend as little or as much time here as you would like. Located a little over a mile away from the Homestead park entrance is Royal Palm. Ranger-led walks and talks are conducted here. The visitor center here includes a small bookstore, restrooms and vending machines. Bookstore Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily Royal Palm extends all the way to Mahogany Hammock just before Flamingo.
