Marina Store

Marina & Marina Store

The Flamingo Marina is Everglades National Park's only marina, open year round, and operated by Everglades Guest Services. The marina store offers food, drinks, and fishing and camping supplies. Restrooms are located adjacent to the marina store.

For more information, visit the park's authorized concessioner's website.

Fuel

Marine fuel, regular gas, and diesel fuel are available next to the Marina Store in Flamingo.

Boat Ramps

For motor boat access to Florida Bay from the park's Homestead entrance, use the Flamingo Marina boat ramp. Flamingo's other motor boat ramp provides access to the Buttonwood Canal and connects to Whitewater Bay, the Wilderness Waterway, and the Ten-Thousand Islands.

Channels from both ramps allow boats with a four-foot maximum draft, although many areas in the park are extremely shallow and accessible only with a shallow-draft boat (see "Maps and Navigation" for more specific information). The adjacent parking lots have capacity for about 150 boat trailers in two parking areas:

  • 80 parking spots for Whitewater Bay boat ramp

  • 70 parking spots for Florida Bay boat ramp

The boat ramp at West Lake is only open to boats with motors no greater than 6 horsepower. Flamingo and West Lake both provide access for canoes, kayaks, and sailboats. For access to the north end of the Ten-Thousand Islands, the Gulf Coast Visitor Center has a launch for non-motorized watercraft, such as kayaks and canoes.

In addition to boat ramps in Everglades National Park, there are public and commercial boat ramps throughout South Florida, including sites adjacent to the park in Everglades City, Chokoloskee, and the Florida Keys. For more information on these ramps, visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Public Boat Ramp Finder.
