Flamingo’s Buttonwood Café Summer Hours
Homestead, Florida: The popular Buttonwood Café in the Flamingo District of Everglades National Park announces its summer hours. The café is located below the visitor center building and serves lunch and dinner.
The Buttonwood Café is now open Thursday thru Monday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. For additional information call 239-695-3101.
The Flamingo Visitor Center remains open through the summer, located at the extreme southern tip of the park approximately 38 miles south of the Homestead main entrance. The Flamingo Visitor Center offers educational displays, informational brochures, and backcountry permits. Near the visitor center are campgrounds, a marina and marina store, and canoe/kayak rentals.
When visiting this area of the park, during the wet summer season, please be prepared for mosquito activity and possible afternoon rain storms.
