The Florida Bay Program Management Committee (PMC) is a science-based program hosted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that reports to the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force. The Critical Ecosystem Studies Initiative (CESI) program has contributed directly to the support of the PMC and much of the research the PMC has been prioritized as needed for restoration of the Greater Everglades coastal and marine systems. The PMC provides guidance to and opportunities for marine scientists to share the results of their work in Biscayne Bay, Rookery Bay, the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, and the Dry Tortugas at the biennial Florida Bay Science Conference |
