How to Apply to do Business in the Park

Before You Begin

Prior approval from the Superintendent, in the form of a Commercial Use Authorization, is required before any business operations can begin in the park. All activities must be in compliance with the general regulations for Everglades National Park and Dry Tortugas National Park.

Commercial Use Authorizations are coordinated through the Superintendent's Office at Everglades National Park, 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, Florida 33034-6733.

All CUA applications will continue to be processed through the online CUA Application and Reporting System.This platform allows you to apply online, submit reports, pay fees, upload documents, and track application status.

***New applications will be accepted starting November 19, 2025 and are due by January 31, 2026.***

 

Commercial Use Authorization Program Changes for 2026

Changes include CUA terms, updated fees, and reporting. Read on for more information.

Beginning this season, permits will now be issued on two-year terms.

The updated CUA fees are as follows:
  • $350 application fee will be due at submission.
  • $1,000 management fee (covers both years), due February 2027 after year one.
  • All payments must be made via the online CUA system.
Reporting
  • ALL Everglades CUA holders must submit monthly reports through the online CUA System.
  • EVER CUA's must ALSO continue to report area usage information through QR Code for activity locations (which includes EVER+BISC).
  • Reports are due by the 15th of each month for the previous month’s operations.
