Liberty and Ellis Islands, N.Y./N.J. – The National Park Service (NPS) has selected Evelyn Hill Inc. to provide retail, food and beverage, and associated services to Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island. Evelyn Hill Inc. has held the current concession contract since 2008. The new contract has a twelve-year term and will begin on May 1, 2024.

Ten-year contract to provide ferry service from New York and New Jersey to Liberty and Ellis Islands.

The National Park Service awarded an approximately $17.7 million construction contract to rehabilitate the Ellis Island Main Immigration Building. Funded by the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA), the project will rehabilitate exterior building components including the masonry facade, clerestory windows, and skylights.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Park Service (NPS) today announced the completion of commercial air tour management voluntary agreements with all air tour operators for Statue of Liberty National Monument and Governors Island National Monument. These agreements guide the FAA and NPS in the management of commercial air tours over these two parks.

Statue of Liberty National Monument, New York City – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Park Service (NPS) announce the availability of a proposed commercial air tour management voluntary agreement for Statue of Liberty National Monument and Governors Island National Monument. This agreement guides the FAA and NPS in the management of commercial air tours over these two parks. The public review period has been reopened for 30 additional days ending December 30, 2022.

Due to the extended impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on visitation and the resultant changes to the conditions upon which the business opportunity described in the solicitation was based, the National Park Service (NPS) has canceled the concession contract solicitation for food and beverage and retail services at the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island (CC-STLI004-20).

The National Park Service (NPS) announced today that the Statue of Liberty Museum and the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration intend to partially reopen on Monday, August 24. The reopening is in response to the City of New York’s inclusion of museums and cultural institutions to Phase Four of New York State’s reopening plan.
