![]() Open seasonally, mid-to-late October through April 15th. First-come, first-served campground located in the hills above Furnace Creek. Great views and some trees. No generators allowed. Each site has a firegrate and picnic table. Fee is paid at pay stations at the front of the campground and in upper loop.

Fire/Stove Policy For cooking stoves, use gas burning stoves only. No charcoal grills are provided. Wood fires are permitted within the provided NPS firegrates. Do not leave fires smoldering or unattended. Toilet Types

From the visitor center, turn right on CA190 and drive past the Furnace Creek Ranch. Just beyond the Ranch on the left is the campground access road.Additional Information Services such as showers, laundry, firewood, and ice can be purchased nearby at Furnace Creek Ranch. Cell Phone Additional Information Cell service is very spotty. Not all carriers offer reception in Death Valley. Expect zero connectivity during periods of higher-than-normal visitation (holidays, weekends, special events). Internet Additional Information Usually available for a fee at the general store less than 1 mile away. Open Wi-Fi is regularly available at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. Regulations Generator Hours: NO GENERATORS. Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 7 AM. The campground is first-come, first-served, however the NPS reserves the right to reserve sites for management needs. Occupy your site first and then pay using the automated fee machines or head across to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center to pay your fee.

ADA Information - There are paved roadways within the campground with access to two comfort stations located at the upper loop. Wheelchair Access - Paved road throughout the camp, with sites made of hard packed gravel. The two comfort stations at the upper loop are wheelchair accessible.
