With 6 million acres of wild land in Denali, the places to go for adventure, solitude and recreation are nearly endless. While we encourage you to get off the beaten path and explore the mostly trail-less wilderness, the locations below are great places to begin your adevnture.

At Mile 13 of the Denali Park Road, the Mountain Vista area offers panoramic views, hiking trails, and a picnic area.

Explore Savage River

Located about 15 miles inside the park. Ride a free bus here in summer or drive here in spring, summer, and fall (parking is limited).
