Lead Dog

Merlyn is a sweet girl to visitors and an animal on the trail! As a two year old, she stepped up her game and led a team across the glare ice of the Teklanika River when other leaders wanted to turn back. Her willingness to take on a leadership role during challenging conditions was exactly the pick-me-up the team needed.
