Steel erection continues at the project site, even as termination dust signals the approaching end of the construction season. As of late last week, the contractor has partially erected the two bays of the truss just east of the centerline, with only the top chord lateral bracing members remaining to install.

The contractor’s goal for this season is to fully erect a minimum of three bays, but they intend to continue working as long as weather permits and may ultimately complete erection on up to five bays (half the bridge) if conditions remain favorable.
