Snow is in the air, but work continues on site at Pretty Rocks. The contractor spent last week preparing for a second round of blasting on the west side.
In Anchorage, concrete is being poured for the 13 foundation elements for the western abutment. Each block will remain in Anchorage for several days after being poured to allow the concrete to gain strength (a process known as “curing”) before being transported to the park.
