Evacuation Status General Information:

Evacuation information is posted on the Riley Wildland Fire Information page on the Denali Borough website. The Denali Borough will be using the Ready, Set, GO! format for notification and evacuation planning throughout the Riley Wildland Fire incident.

Ready (Green): Prepare, monitor, and pack your valuables
Set (Yellow): Be set to evacuate at a moment’s notice
GO! (Red): Evacuate NOW

Current Status:

Ready (Green): The Nenana Canyon area (AKA Glitter Gulch) and Denali National Park Headquarters, Permanent housing, and C-Camp. Anyone in these areas should stay alert, prepare and pack valuables, and monitor for evacuation status.

Set (Yellow): Currently, there are no locations in “set” status.

GO! (Red): All hikers in the Bison Gulch and Antler Ridge areas, all employees housed at the Denali National Park Joint Venture facility, and campers in the Riley Creek Campground: anyone in these areas should evacuate. 

The Tri-Valley Community Center is the Evacuation Information Center at Mile 0.5 Healy Spur Road in Healy.

More information will be released when available on the Denali National Park and Preserve and Denali Borough social media pages.
