Receive a Video "Postcard"Black Canyon and Curecanti offer a free, asynchronous distance learning program for K–12 classrooms. Through this offering, your students can connect with a ranger via a personalized video "postcard" answering their questions. Whether you are an Earth Sciences teacher eager to have students ask about how erosion helped form impressive landscapes, conducting a social studies unit exploring the U.S., or just looking for a way to increase student engagement and curiosity–the asynchronous distance learning program is flexible and adaptable to your needs. We work with the nonprofit Post Pigeon EDU to help facilitate this program offering. By signing up for their free program, in addition to receiving a personalized video from our Rangers, you will also receive a robust curriculum centered around K–8 learning standards. How it Works
Note: After questions are submitted, classrooms can expect to receive their video from a Ranger in 1–3 weeks after the submission date. How Do I Sign Up?Please visit Post Pigeon EDU to sign up. The park will not accept requests for this offering via email. |
