The National Park Service announces the winter hours of operation for the visitor center at Fort Bowie National Historic Site, located in Bowie, Arizona. The Fort Visitor Center will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The grounds, including the ruins areas, hiking trails, and restrooms, are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Chiricahua National Monument has prepared a Draft Accessibility Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan (SETP) to document the assessment of the park’s facilities, services, and programs, as well as current policies and practices, and identify actions to correct in-park accessibility barriers.
Chiricahua National Monument is seeking public comment on proposed increases in expanded amenity fees for Bonita Canyon Campground. Fees at Chiricahua for individual campsites last changed in 2017 and group campsite fees last changed in 2007.
