After selecting a Single Image or Single Image (without header) element from the Image Elements section of the Element Gallery dialog, click the Element Tool icon and select Layout Properties to open the Image Layout Properties dialog.
Click the appropriate image for caption above, caption below or no caption.

Image Gallery sets the Image Element to be able to choose from any Gallery, or a specific Gallery. You might choose to pick a specific gallery, then lock the element down so you can control which images are available to your contributors for this particular Image Element.
Click Save to keep your changes or Cancel to exit without saving.
