To add an image to the Gallery, drag and drop images from other applications, paste image from other sources, or click Upload New Image at the bottom of Image Gallery dialog. You must have Upload Image permissions for both the source and destination gallery and subsite.
You can also move images between galleries, chooose Image from the New menu, or replace existing images with new versions from the More Actions option within My Images or other Image reports, as shown below. See the description for More Actions in The Image Gallery and Move Image.
